UTEN Entrepreneur Training consists of four stages. 1. Self-Assessment Where YOU Think You Are -- Self-Assessment Entrepreneurs complete a 20-minute self-assessment. This assessment helps know where you stand, and what challenges are ahead, along three areas of interest: (1) Technology; (2) Business; and (3) Market. Where WE Think You Are -- Technology Screen UTEN works with you and your Technology Transfer office to assess readiness to proceed with commercialization. A 4-8 hour process rates your technology and venture along seven key factors that give an early indication of commercialization potential. Read our Confidentiality Agreement Policy Where THE MARKET Thinks You Are -- MarketLook UTEN works with you and your Technology Transfer office to perform a MarketLook. A MarketLook is a 40-60 hour early market assessment. The core of a MarketLook is 8-12 interviews with potential customers, end users, partners and technology validators. Business Development (facilitation) All parties work together to develop a 2-3 page plan for entry into the U.S. for partnerships, sales, and/or a corporate presence. UTEN makes introductions, faciltates connections, and may perform select, crucial tasks to enable market entry. Next >> Who We Can Help |
